Cronicarul moldovean Miron Costin si-a petrecut tineretea in localitatea Bar din Polonia. El a trait intre anii 1633 si 1691.

Cea mai celebra opera a sa s-a numit Letopisetul Tarii Moldovei, iar eu personal, o urasc biggrin.gif Are un stil greoi de a scrie si e dificil de inteles si retinut ceva din ea.
